        Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Pro Rev. 3.0 (Intel P67 ATX) 

Reason: It has high speed with 1600 MHz, have 7 slots and specially for designed.

        CPU: Intel Core i7 2700K (3.5GHz) QUAD CORE 95W 

Reason: All feature intergrated graphic capacibilities, product line is core i7, Intel HD graphic graphic 3000

        RAM: Patriot Viper Xtreme 16GB DDR3-1600 (4x4GB) 

Reason: Making the memory cooling run and also suitable for using to make game is sensitive.

         Video Card: PNY Quadro 2000 1GB 

Reason: This video card is suitable for a workstation like Graphic Designer Computer. And the quad core would make the designing of High-Definition graphic faster and easier.

          Sound Card: Onboard Sound 

Reason: Any sound card is fine. I need to design only the graphic.

        Controllers (Adapter Cards): None

Reason: No need for additional card.

         Networking (Adapter Cards): Bluetooth USB Adapter and 802.11n Wireless USB Adapter 

Reason: I need Bluetooth to connect my designing gadget with my computer. And the Wireless is use for Wifi internet.

         Hard Drive: 2.0TB Western Digital Caviar Green (5400 RPM, SATA III, Quiet) 

Reason: I need a big Hard-Disk to store many High-Definition quality graphics and videos that I designed. And I think 5400 RPM is enough for transferring file to my other designer friend.

          CD / DVD Rom: Asus 24x DVD-RW SATA (black) 

Reason: Only a decent DVD Rom is enough for me. I need it to install designing program that I purchased from the market.

          Removable Drive: None

Reason: I prefer to use an external removable device instead, because it is easier to carry around.

           Case: Cooler Master HAF 932 Advanced Full-Tower

Reason: Every Workstation computer often get hot very fast, because of the intense used on High-Definition quality video editing and grapic editing. So this cooler master will help to cool the CPU faster. The design of the case is very cool as well.

          Power Supply: Antec TruePower 650W 

Reason: The website recommended a 560W power supply, but I think having some spare energy is better than having the one with exactly the same power supply as the recommended one.

           CPU Cooling: Puget Hydro CL3 Liquid Cooling System for 1156 

Reason: With the latest technology of liquid cooling system, this CPU cooling will be helping to cool my workstation computer faster than normal model, because it often get hot very fast.

           Monitor: Asus 21.5inch LCD w/ LED and Speakers (1920x1080) (black) 

Reason: I don’t like to use too big monitor screen, I think it will post a problem to my eye. So a 21.5 inch is not too small and not too big in my opinion. Plus, it support up to 1920x1080 resolution which is very good at seeing the detail of the graphic designed.

           Speakers: None

Reason: My monitor already has a built-in speaker. As I mention earlier, sound doesn’t really matter to a graphic designer like me.

           Keyboard: None

Reason: I already has a very good keyboard/mouse combo at home.

           Mouse: None

Reason: Included in the great combo that I owned.


Costs according to the website: 2570 USD

Conclusion: Computer for graphic design need a high performance, more cooling than other kind of computer, so I need all this component to make my computer machine run fast, high graphic and need a big capacity hardisk to store the data as well. I think this computer is suitable for graphic design.

Autodesk 3ds Max 2012

Autodesk 3ds Max is software for design 3D object. Autodesk 3ds Max also designs in animation, graphic, game and visual effective. Autodesk 3ds Max is a professional design, it is have show the function on the screen; also show a different view on the same screen of the computer. I think it would be easy for the designer to design object because they can see in 3D, 2D, top and side of the object they are working on.

Pros

·         Have several views on the screen when designer design the object.

·         Good in graphic, animation.

Cons

·         Sometime hard to find the function on the screen, because I just installed this software.

Summary

Autodesk 3ds Max is professional software for design 3D object, however, I not familiar with this software yet, so I can say some time I hard to use this software. Because I used this software without guide, I just download and working on this software by myself.

AutoCAD 2012

AutoCAD is software for design mostly in building, vehicle, and garden. AutoCAD have many functions to use, set the color easily. Working with this software is save time; we can draw in 2D also in 3D. With AutoCAD, designers feel comfortable with design the interior, exterior and product that we need in daily life.

Pros

·         Easy to use the software

·         Saved time

Cons

·         2D and 3D are separated pages.

Summary

I have learnt how to use AutoCAD software last year; it's not hard to learn how to use this software. AutoCAD has many functions, however, according to my experience with this software, I can say I use only a few functions to design a building in 2D and set color to the building.

Adobe Illustrator CS5

Adobe Illustrator CS5 is software for design graphic. This software is easy to use, realistic; we can use the brush to draw something we want, easy to set color, easy to draw the line and especially in graphic design. I think most of the graphic designer use Adobe Illustrator software whenever they want to design the flower, animals, and plant.

Pros

·         Realistic

·         Easy to use, easy to set color

Cons

·         Sometime software is complicated, when we want to delete some part of the project.

Summary

I am a Graphic Design and Multimedia Student in Zaman University. I have been use Adobe Illustrator for many times, it is easy to used; I can use this software by myself without guide. Most of the time, I use it to draw the butterfly and set color picture same as photo in Internet.

Facebook

Facebook is a social network that people around the world used it everyday. There are about 600 million active user in this social network. They can use facebook account to connect with their family, their friend around the world. It is a social network that people can post their status on their wall, on their friends' wall. moreover, user can upload their picture, video as much as they can. Especially share information on facebook is more faster than simple email, because what i write on my wall, all my friends, friend of friend can see or everyone can see it. In addition, facebook also let their user set their personal account. For example, they can block picture or information to hide from everyone, only their friend can see it. This is a good system for user to make choice to openly their account information or hide.

Advantage of Palm tree

Palm tree is a part of symbol of Cambodia, this tree also the long life tree in Cambodia that we can found everywhere in Cambodia.  This tree has many advantages for Cambodia people, For example, their leaves and branches are use to mate roof. Palm fruit can make sweet or cooking for food, palm juice for vinegar, wine and palm sugar, their root use for traditional medicine. Moreover, the most useful for people is their trunk, people take their trunk for boat to transport.  In addition, some people in country side are get income from this tree to support their daily life, for instance, some people sell palm juice, sell palm sugar and palm wine in their business.

Optimistic

People are divide into two group of people, one is pessimistic and optimistic. Optimistic is the person who think on the positive way, facing all problem and try to find solution, even in the bad situation they still think on the positive way. Pessimistic is the person who always think in the negative way, not facing with problem and also think that everything is hard, can't do it. For instance, water in the glass, it not full of water but half of glass. if we let the optimistic to look at the water in the glass, they will think about the water in the glass, but for pessimistic will think about the empty space in the glass. This is the way of optimistic and pessimistic think. People who in optimistic always get successes with their business, their work and job, because they also think that they can do it, they can try their best.
